QHD (Quad high definition) is a resolution standard for high-end monitors, televisions and mobile devices.
QHD is specified as 2560x1440 pixels at a 16:9 aspect ratio which 4-times that of 720p standard high definition. Ultra wide QHD boosts horizontal pixels to 3440 for 21x9 aspect ratio.
QHD is a resolution used in large-size monitors and televisions and for small mobile devices its pixels density becomes very high i.e. 538PPI for a 5.5 inch screen. QHD displays are being installed in some high range laptops also these days.
QHD displays are being manufactured at multiple refresh rates (frame rates) like 144Hz, 165Hz, 240Hz, 300Hz, 360Hz, 400Hz and so on.
