Pctech.co.in Spare Parts Warranty Policy

This Spare Parts Warranty Policy applies to all laptop and computer spare parts sold on Pctech.co.in. Since spare parts require professional handling and installation, warranty coverage is limited and subject to the conditions below.
1. Warranty Coverage for Spare Parts
All spare parts sold on Pctech.co.in carry a limited replacement warranty, covering only manufacturing defects or DOA (Dead on Arrival) issues.
Warranty applies only if:
The part is defective out of the box
The part does not function due to a factory defect
The issue is reported within 10 days of delivery
2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement
To claim warranty for spare parts, customers must provide a clear unboxing video showing:
The sealed package being opened showing courier shipping label
The spare part inside the package
The issue or defect, if visible
Warranty claims will not be accepted without an unboxing video.
This requirement protects both the customer and Pctech.co.in from transit or misuse disputes.
3. Installation Responsibility Disclaimer
Spare parts are intended for professional installation only.
Warranty will be void if:
The part is damaged during installation
The part is installed incorrectly
The part shows burn marks, scratches, broken pins, or physical damage
The part has been modified, tampered with, or repaired
The product is tested using improper voltage or equipment
Pctech.co.in is not responsible for installation damage or technician errors.
4. Warranty Does Not Cover
The spare parts warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by improper installation
Damage caused by power surge, short circuit, or liquid
Wear and tear or cosmetic damage
Used or tested parts that no longer qualify as new
Physical damage, cracks, bent connectors, or broken components
Missing or tampered serial numbers
Compatibility issues due to wrong model selection
Issues caused by BIOS lock, firmware lock, or system board faults
Consumable parts once installed, such as batteries or thermal components
5. Return Conditions for Warranty Claims
To be eligible for warranty replacement:
The part must be returned in original condition
It must include original packaging and labels
Serial numbers and stickers must be intact
The product must show no physical or installation damage
If the returned part fails inspection, the warranty claim will be rejected.
6. Replacement Process for Spare Parts
Once a warranty claim is approved:
A replacement part will be shipped free of charge, subject to stock availability
If the same model is unavailable, store credit may be offered
Refunds are not provided for spare parts unless required by law
7. No Refund Policy for Correctly Supplied Spare Parts
Refunds or replacements will not be provided if:
The correct spare part was delivered
The customer ordered the wrong model
The issue is due to system incompatibility or user error
Customers are advised to confirm compatibility before ordering.
8. Warranty Claim Procedure
To raise a warranty request:

Provide order ID, product details, and issue description
Attach the unboxing video and clear photos
Wait for approval before returning the product
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
9. Inspection and Final Decision
All returned spare parts are inspected by our technical team.
Pctech.co.in reserves the final right to approve or reject warranty claims based on inspection results.
10. Limitation of Liability
Pctech.co.in is not liable for:
Labor or technician charges
Data loss or system damage
Business loss due to part failure
Any indirect or consequential damages
Warranty coverage is limited strictly to replacement of the spare part only.
