Product Warranty

PRODUCT WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

(Applicable to all purchases made on pctech.co.in)

At PCTECH COMPUTERS, we are committed to providing high-quality laptop parts and accessories. All products sold on our website come with a Manufacturer Warranty or Seller Warranty, depending on the respective item. These Warranty Terms & Conditions explain your rights, coverage, exclusions, and the process for claiming warranty support.


1. Warranty Period

  • The warranty period for each product is as mentioned on its respective product page.

  • If no warranty duration is mentioned, the product is considered to carry no warranty.

  • Manufacturer Warranty items must be claimed directly through the brand’s authorized service centers.

  • Seller Warranty items are handled by PCTECH COMPUTERS as per the terms below.


2. Warranty Coverage

Warranty applies only for manufacturing defects and not for issues caused by physical or accidental damage.

Warranty covers:

  • Internal manufacturing defects

  • Functional defects not caused by customer handling

  • Product not performing as intended under normal usage

Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Physical damage (cracks, dents, chips, broken connectors)

  • Burnt, bent, shorted, or tampered components

  • Liquid or moisture damage

  • Damage due to wrong installation or wrong product selection

  • Damage caused by using product on incompatible laptop models

  • Damage due to unauthorized repair, soldering, modification

  • Damage during installation or handling by customer/technician

  • Damage caused by power fluctuation, over-voltage, or misuse

  • Transport damage after installation/use


3. Warranty Will Be Void If:

  • Product is installed by an unqualified or untrained technician

  • Serial number, sticker, label, or barcode is tampered, removed, or unclear

  • Customer installs the wrong part

  • Customer uses the product in a non-recommended or incompatible system

  • Product is physically damaged, scratched, or mishandled

  • Product is opened, modified, or repaired by the customer or a third party


4. Warranty Claim Requirements

To raise a warranty claim, customer must provide:

  1. Order ID / Invoice Copy

  2. Clear photos and videos showing:

    • The issue

    • The laptop model

    • Product label or serial number

  3. Installation video (required for screens, motherboards, batteries, keyboards, fans, and internal parts)

Claims submitted without photos/videos cannot be processed.


5. Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Customer submits claim through email/WhatsApp with required photos/videos.

  2. Our technical team reviews the evidence.

  3. If needed, customer must ship the product to our testing lab.

  4. Testing time: 3–7 business days from the date of product receipt.

  5. If defect is confirmed:

    • Replacement will be provided for the same model.

    • If unavailable, we may offer a compatible model or store credit.

  6. If no defect is found or damage is customer-induced:

    • Product will be returned to customer as-is.

    • No replacement or refund will be provided.


6. Shipping Charges for Warranty Claims

  • Customer must bear the shipping cost for sending the product for testing.

  • PCTECH COMPUTERS will bear the shipping cost for sending the approved replacement back to the customer.


7. Return & Replacement Policy

  • 10-day return window applies only to unused, uninstalled items.

  • Product must be returned in original, unopened packaging with all accessories.

  • Installed or used products cannot be returned.

  • Open-box, tampered, scratched, or physically damaged products are not eligible for return.

  • Wrong item delivered by us → Free replacement or 100% refund.

  • Consumables (thermal paste, adhesives, tapes, etc.) carry no warranty.


8. Manufacturer Warranty Products

For products covered under Manufacturer Warranty:

  • Claims must be submitted to the brand’s authorized service center.

  • PCTECH COMPUTERS is not responsible for service center decisions or timelines.

  • Warranty terms are governed by the respective brand.


9. Limitation of Liability

  • Warranty covers replacement only, not refunds.

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Any cost of installation or re-installation

    • Any damage to laptop or other components

    • Any data loss or business loss

  • Decision of PCTECH COMPUTERS technical team will be final for Seller Warranty items.


10. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct part selection before purchase.

  • Install only through a trained technician.

  • Provide proper diagnosis details and installation video.

  • Handle products carefully during installation and transport.


11. Governing Law

All disputes are subject to Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh jurisdiction.
